As per Nielson by 2025, the rural FMCG sale is estimated to be $ 100 billion from the current $ 12 billion. Total rural income is estimated to reach $1.8 trillion by 2020-21. Rural market is the market of the new millennium. Urban markets are becoming increasingly competitive for many products. In some cases, they are even saturated.

Rural market is still a mystery for most of the companies. Due to lack of deeper insights into the psyche of the rural consumers, companies are hesitant to explore this territory and the market scenario today is also changing very rapidly.
